The Castle of Pera is located on a hill, in the head of the Vall d’Horta (basin of the river Ripoll) and inside the Parc Natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt. The construction is of great historical significance and offers a spectacular panoramic view.
Documented from the year 1017, currently it only keeps some walls that allow you to review its medieval structure. The best preserved part is the west wall, where you can see a lot of sackclothes.
Also noteworthy are the remains of the chapel of the castle, dedicated to Santa Maria and documented from 1378. There are remains of up to half a meter of height, from the 11th century.
