Located on a hill, the castle of Rubí is a great gothic mansion built between the 13th and 15th centuries and documented from the year 1002.
The building was acquired by the city in 1987 and it was restored and converted into a museum and exhibition hall.
The collection of the Museu Municipal Castell is of a great variety, ranging from archaeological materials, among which there are parts of the Iberian period, up to industrial machinery, works of art, historic vehicles… The permanent exhibition “Rubí, the evolution of a people” allows you to take a tour from prehistory to the present of the city.
The building is located in a magnificent setting, in a very quiet area, located on a small hill from which one can observe the city.
