Museu de la Pagesia

The villa of Castellbisbal has been, historically, an agricultural town with an economy based on the wine production and horticulture. Before the loss of the primary sector for the benefit of the industrial activity, the Museu de la Pagesia was born  thanks to the will of the residents of the village of preserving this agricultural character. For this reason, the villagers donated to the museum the field tools and the everyday’s life devices of the peasantry.

Currently, the museum is structured thematically, with a floor dedicated to the life of the farmer, another to the work of the countryside and the last one, to transport and markets.
