History and adventure with friends and family in Ripollet and Cerdanyola

Are you a group of families with children and you want to have fun?

You have found your offer!

We invite you to spend a day full of adventures: discover how an old flour mill worked, make your bread and take it home, have lunch outdoors in a fantastic park and end the day by climbing the trees!

Let’s go!

MORNING

Did you know that Ripollet is home to a 19th-century flour mill? This is the Molí d’en Rata (Mill of Mr Rat) a restaurant-museum today, and ready to receive your visits!

We suggest you to start your day there with your troop. You can go inside, see the original machinery that operated the hydraulic mill, learn about the process used to grind the flour: from the water coming out of the pond until the grain is ground. You can also take a workshop where you will make the dough to make your own bread, you can bake it and take it home!

Oh! You can also take the opportunity to visit the rooms of the Molí d ‘en Rata Interpretation Center, you will discover illustrious figures of Ripoll such as the sculptor Josep M. Brull, the painter Andreu Solà or the basketball player Joan Creus, among others.

Pre-booking is required, you can check the conditions and schedules for these activities by contacting CIP Mill d ‘en Rata.
