Located in the old town, Can Domènech reflects the history of Cerdanyola throughout the 20th century. First, it was the theatre-casino of the holiday visitors (1894), subsequently, a holiday tower (1910) and, finally, a pharmaceutical laboratory (1961). The construction is the work of two modernist Architects: Gaietà Buïgas and Eduard Maria Balcells. The building was restored a few years ago and it currently hosts the headquarters of the Art Museum of Cerdanyola (MAC).
