The architect Lluís Muncunill built this steam in 1907 commissioned by three industrialists from Terrassa dedicated to the manufacture of woollen fabrics: Aymerich, Amat and Jover. The building currently hosts the headquarters of the Museu Nacional de la Ciència i la Tècnica de Catalunya and is considered one of the best examples of the Catalan industrial Modernism. We can visit all the parts of this modernist factory, which hosted all the industrial process for the manufacture of wool (coal cellars, boilers, fireplace, steam engine and machine room).
