Centre de Documentació i Museu Tèxtil

Located within the Parc de Vallparadís, it is a museum dedicated to the preservation, study and promotion of textile culture, offering a permanent space linked to the modernist textile style and a continuous programme of temporary exhibitions. Its origins date back to 1946 and today it is a consortium consisting of the City Council of Terrassa and the Diputació de Barcelona.

It has two ideal rooms for meetings, screen, overhead and slides projector, and PA system. Noteworthy is its specialised library, which brings together more than 10,000 documents; bank of images IMATEX, which contains more than 30,000 textile documents:  fabrics, original designs, samples, clothing and accessories; the workshop of restoration of fabrics; and the classroom workshop.
