The Torre de Ca n’Altimira is a defence tower located in a strategic enclave for the control of much of the course of the river Ripoll. It did not appear until the 70s, when the house of the same name, also called La Palomera, was demolished.
It is an important medieval vestige (11th-12th centuries), with square base prism construction of 5.30 m side and 7 m high (although it surely was higher before building the house), on the left bank of the river Ripoll.
