Modern architectural heritage

The village of Palau-solità i Plegamans has been inhabited since  ancient times. Even so, the most important testimony is that of the modern man: it is showed by the different buildings and characters that have left their mark. With this tour, visitors can learn about the history and development of Palau-solità i Plegamans through their cultural heritage.

The route passes by the town. The visitor will be able to see the current parish church of Sant Genís, work of the architect Puig Boada consecrated in 1946; the Sindicat, with facade and windows of the Noucentista style; the Casa Folch, summer house of noucentista style which was the property of the writer Josep M. Folch i Torres, and the Escoles Velles, logical building created by Josep M. Sert in 1934.
