The Casa Alegre de Sagrera was built at the beginning of the 19th century as the residence of the Sagrera, one of the wealthiest families of Terrassa. The year 1911 the architect Melcior Vinyals remodeled the building following a modernist eclectic model, according to the preferences of the industrial bourgeoisie of the time. Both the house and the gardens are now open to the public.
