The Teatre Auditori del Mercat Vell is located in the building of the former Municipal market of food of Ripollet, built during the second Republic. It was opened in 1994 and is managed by the Patronat Municipal de Cultura.
It currently hosts several steady programmes of performing arts (theatre, dance, music and proposals for the family audience) and has a capacity of 355 seats.
