ROUTE
A circular route with Sentmenat as intermediate point. We leave the village towards the castle of Sentmenat – an originally defensive building transformed over time in agricultural building – and will continue to the old masia of Can Fruitós. Once crossed the torrent of Corró we will head for the hill of the Torre Roja, from where the path will take us close to another historical masia, Can Senosa, located in the valley of the same name.
We will continue our path and visit the mountain range of Cavallera, with its dolmen, first known vestige of a human population in Sentmenat. Leaving behind the path of the spring of Bou and the castle of Guanta, on the top of the hill of the Corb, we arrive again to Sentmenat through the residential area of Can Vinyals.
We will leave the town again, this time by Can Palau. Passing through magnificent forests, we will enter the municipality of Sabadell and arrive at the chapel of the Mare de Déu de Togores.
It is believed that its name comes from the latin (tuguri) and refers to the cottages used as refuge. From the Togores chapel, we will start our return to Sentmenat among forests that open giving way to crops and masias.
