Santa Maria de Santiga is a church of Romanesque origin situated in the heart of Santiga, in the municipality of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda. The building is documented from the 10th century and over time it has had some works of remodelling and expansion. It preserves a part of the north wall and the base of a bell tower of square floor from the Romanesque period.
It is venerated the statue of the Mare de Déu de l’Heura, which was found, according to tradition, in 1624. Every year it is celebrated l’Aplec de Santiga in the month of September, during which religious and popular events are organized.
