MORNING: Hike to the Hill of the Bassotes

We suggest you start the day by taking this hike that will take you to the top of the Turó de les Bassotes, where you will have an excellent view of Viladecavalls and its surroundings (about 539 meters high).

Distance: 0.5 km.

Duration: 30 minutes

Departure point: At the top of the street Camí de Can Buixeres, take the road that will take you to the old manor house of Can Buixeres. After 1 Km, a little before reaching the entrance of this house, you will find an esplanade on the right where you can park your vehicles and where you can start the hike.

Do not miss the visit of the old lime kiln, also known as the​ Forn Riscal​​ (from the parking there is a track that leads to it) and the Pedra Degollada, (disgorged stone) a unique and curious natural formation.

Once you have done this route, we propose two options!

The first option that we propose is to finish the morning walking through the town of Viladecavalls, take the opportunity to enter one of its local shops and have lunch in one of its restaurants. You can check them here, you will find them for all tastes!

You can then spend the afternoon at Granja Aventura Park.

The other option that we propose is that, after finishing the hike at the Turó de les Bassotes, you can go directly to the Granja Aventura Park to finish the day. If it’s lunchtime and you need to eat, you can choose between the bar-restaurant or the picnic area in the park itself.

But what is the Granja Aventura Park? An educational amusement park for the whole family! You will find a farm with animals, a vegetable garden, an adventure area with vines and zip lines, playgrounds, sandboxes… a park to spend a day enjoying nature and animals!
