The new Athletics covered track of Catalonia is located in Sant Oleguer sports complex next to the outdoor track and in an area with good communications. It is scenically integrated in the surroundings of the river Ripoll, it has 12.700 m2 of constructed area and it has capacity for 2.500 people.
The competition track has an oval and symmetric shape with two axeis, it consists of 6 lanes where races of relay and 3000 m and 400 m. among others, are celebreted and 8 lanes for speed 60 m speed races and 60 m hurdles.
It is a top-tier facility that respects and agrees with the international rules of athletics. It is the only indoor athletics in Catalonia, the sixth of Spain and one of the best indoor athletics throughout Europe.
