Church of Sant Pere

stpere

The church of Sant Pere of Rubí is documented since the 11th century. In spite of its Romanesque origin, in 1884 the temple was radically altered at the time of the enlargement, designed by Antoni Casademunt.

Of the Romanesque building it is preserved the western facade, the lobby and the vault up to the transept. The facade is crowned with blind arches supported on figured corbels. There is a double window with a shaft of marble and a reused capital from the 10th century.
